Like Punky

Did your parents give you the freedom to where what ever you wanted at any age? What was your favorite item to rock?  My daughter is a Cancer and I think Cancers have a good eye for matching! I could see it from when she was a tot she would be a little diva.
Layout I did of her long ago showing her style!

Until the other day it didn't dawn on me why she has insisted lately to wear a pony tail everyday!!!!!!!!  Once I turned 9 I loved to rock a pony tail to one side! EVERYDAY!
If we could just stay little and cute like Punky!

That's why I admired Punky Brewster in my days.  Don't we all wish we could stay cute like Punky? Even Soleil herself probably does, she was on an episode of What Not to Wear!  Sometimes I feel like I need to be reported to the clothes police and the scrapbooking police too.

I feel like sometimes my layouts don't coordinate so well.  I am awful at matching papers and pictures. I do my best. One person I really admire for her coordination eye is my friend Michelle
she can make something out of nothing and get those photos to go toe to toe with kits she uses! Amazing! One day with the help of the ottlite I will get it. tee-hee

See you tomorrow for yet another flash back memory

  1. What a sweet layout of your daughter!! I could definitely be reported to the fashion police too!! And one of the hardest things I face with a project is finding coordinating papers, so I know what you mean :)

  2. Your daughter is a little cutie! I do okay matching the papers to the photo, my biggest struggle is matching papers from different collections and something I really need to work on.
I hope you are having a wonderful birthday month!

  4. I loved leg warmers, that is soo funny now. I used to have them in every color, and would even wear them over my jeans. I am so happy that I don't have pictures of that, lol.

  5. Your lo is really pretty, looking at it you wouldn't think you have those issues. Your daughter is pretty and so is your work.

  6. I had a Punky doll. I also loved a side ponytail. I also rocked my hair to the side in a banana clip. What you know about that?

I won't mention how my mama let me go to school wearing a petticoat. It had to be when Jody Watley was out.
