When I started working on the layout featured in this blog I really wanted to use more of the things I had bought when I purchased this collection. The cardstock die pieces had this piece that said Happiness that matched well with the papers I had chosen. But then I said what can photo can I use where there is happiness or journal about happiness. I guess you can use whatever you like to accent your pages and it really doesn't have anything to do with it. But it matters that what I embellish with has ties to the layout for me. And my neighbor who is getting into scrapping has asked a lot of questions as to why this and why that.
Sometimes I am thinking in my head just because or get with it it's what scrappers do. LOL
Happiness is not hard to come by. It can be really simple for me most of the time. I have always loved to walk. Its a great way to clear your mind. Sometimes I walk with the kids so we can talk. It often brings back memories for us of different events in our lives. But the best walks for me are alone. I do not even have to have a particular destination. This is the second walk I've documented and I must say it takes skill not only to scrap yourself but to take a photo of yourself on you cell phone. He he.
To all my new followers let me know what day you become a follower, I want to give out a rack to a random follower.

Love this layout! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI am like you...I like the things on my page to tie into what I am scrpbooking about.
ReplyDeleteI am not very mobile right now (just till my surgery) but happiness used to be walking with my husband at the walking track near my house. We would go for a hour after dinner...It was so nice to walk together...
Right now, happiness is having a coffee in my garden as we are having an Indian summer and it is so nice to sit out and enjoy the last of the summer blooms.
Love the stylish photos, you look like a Cosmo model. I think we cheat ourselves out of those private quiet moments when we get a chance to just e thankful for all of our blessings. Greta layout!
ReplyDeletebeautiful layout!
ReplyDeleteThat's cute, I love to walk, too, it clears my mind. I try to go everyday. Thanks for stopping by my blog. Barb
ReplyDeleteGorgeous layout! Love the color combination. I will make sure to bring my cell phone the next time I'm out walking! :)
ReplyDeleteI enjoy a good bout of people watching myself, so I can see why your friend would find it relaxing, especially from inside the safety of her own car. I don't mean that it is unsafe outside your car; I mean that you are cocooned away from the rest of the world, no fear of interaction interfering with your people watching. Whew! That was convoluted.
ReplyDeleteLove the colors on your layout. They totally rock. Great photo as well!
So pretty! I love the colour combinations you used! And you are pretty good at self photos ... mine you can usually see up my nose :)
ReplyDeleteI see you working your skills, lol. This is gorgeous!
