Wednesday comes around too fast. I am in again for WOYWW with Julia and all the other desk hoppers.
This is how my space was left and I still have not vacuumed. I tried to give a view from every angle.
This really helps me keep track of all my works in progress and you know if you never see it on this blog its either scrapped or still somewhere in a pile. When I am scatter brain I start a layout if it doesnt come together instantly I move on hence all these layouts sprawled about. I have more in the green Art bin not pictured .
I think that's a great way to do it, move it out of the way that way you don't get stuck on it and frustrated. Great advice!! :)
ReplyDeleteOmgoodness you have a lot going on there! I can just feel all of the ideas swimming around in your head looking at those WIPs, that is why I hide mine away, lol. .
ReplyDeleteLovely blog and well organised by the look of it. Noticed you are from Boston. Was there, New York and New England last fall for 2 fabulous weeks. Lucky thing. Sandy Dallas
ReplyDeleteWow, you have some many pages on the go there. I can only do one at a time, must be why I'm so slow!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW
Hugs Lisax#93
I have had one page on the go, well not finished for over 18 months! I bet it feels good when you finish them all, but they are looking good. Thanks for visiting me Amanda @ 129 x
ReplyDeleteWow busy lady. I'm terrible I just keep bashing away at cards, tags or layouts until they are done whether I'm happy or not. Not the best way I think. Your way is miles better.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting. Happy WOYWW

I wish I could do that but I am only capable of working on one project at a time. If I'm stuck that's it. It was lovely to visit your workdesk again today.
ReplyDeleteSue x (MiniOwner #86)
Your workdesk is truly organized. Just the right placement for your creative juices to flow from one page to another.
ReplyDeleteWow, great work space
ReplyDeleteHugs Ellie Wee xx
Lots of great projects!! Stick with them! Sometimes it takes a while before the creative juices really start flowing. Have a happy day!! Karen 122
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a lovely busy desk. Thanks for visiting our blog earlier
ReplyDeleteI'm the same, I need instant gratification or I lose my flow. I am determined to finish more though.
ReplyDeleteGreat set of layouts - looks like lots of fun going on ! Ali #53
ReplyDeleteHow fabulous that you have that long table, Jojorenee, to be able to stage your layouts in progress and see them all in a line like that!! Thanks for coming by to see me! Have a wonderful productive week! Darnell #132
ReplyDeleteOh my, Tamika, you are so organized, I want to come scrap at your house!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by last week!!
Happy WOYWW!

utterly shameless this week . . .
Ok so come over and get me organized. You must be power cropping...several projects at a time. Love it A+wesome!
ReplyDeleteLots of things happening here today.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your work space and have a great and creative end to the week. Happy WOYWW.
hugs {brenda} xox
What a great workspace, with plenty of room to suit your creative style of having several layouts on the go at once - great to hear the secrets of other people's process, as well as get to nose around their craft space!! Thanks so much for dropping by, and happy WOYWW!
ReplyDeleteAlison x
Wow Love the area. It is so organized. Happy scrapping to you.
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy to hear that I'm not the only one who has different projects on the go! I do the same as you - start a new project and then, if it's not going quite right, leave it for a while. It always works much better when I go back the second time!
ReplyDeleteAnd I always pick crafting over hoovering - every single time - funny that, isn't it?? LOL!!!
Thanks for dropping by,
LLJ #73 xx
What a great way to be able to go back to something you have ground to a halt on - I love the Layout you have on your desk - no stalling there. It looks fab - loving the bold prints. Thanks for popping in - your comment made me chuckle 'at first glance I looked like a pro!' then you read the evidence to the contrary..... I am only a wanna be pro! I am pretty sure my camera does not need to be perched so it looks like it is about to beam me up (Scotty!) Happy WOYWW to you from Helen 102
ReplyDeletebut that's a GREAT idea to lay out your works in progress! I've got to do that! Love the looks of the layout on the little desk!
ReplyDeleteHi again - realised I forgot to answer your question! The book with the teal sticky note (actually just a piece of card I painted with some leftover aquamarine paint so as not to waste it!) is the Tim Holtz Compendium of Curiosities Volume II, which I've been playing with some of the techniques out of...
ReplyDeleteAlison x
Love your desk - all those bright and vibrant papers waiting to be made into some gorgeous layout.
ReplyDeleteRe the left/right thing - I don't just pause and think about it, I actually say the wrong word, or worse still, can't say the word at all - if it wasn't so funny it would be tragic. Can you just imagine the pickles I got into when I was in the army and being taking through how to march by the drill sergeant - by the left, quick march, left, right, left, right - it was my idea of hell :))
Have a great week. Elizabeth x #113
I just love how you have your workspace laid out...it looks like oodles of crafting space! :) And it is so well organized...love it!
ReplyDeleteYou mentioned tags over on my blog and you should definitely try making some. I bet you could easily use them in some of your LO's and they are lots of fun to make, since you can usually make them pretty quickly.
Thanks for stopping by my desk and commenting...I hope you are having a wonderful week! :)

Hi Jojorenee, playing catch up today as time got away from me yesterday. Hope you had a great Wednesday and thanks for the visit. Your work space looks very neat and productive....I can only dream of being that tidy.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend. Hugs Erika.
Looks like you have many projects going on! It's great that you've kept them so organised so that you can start on them whenever you're ready. Good job!
ReplyDeleteNow that is what I call organised!! Great idea to have piles like that so you know what goes with which project. Just a case of putting them all together now!! Nothing like a challenge eh? Only trouble here would be there would be so many piles it would look like the Himalayas:)) Thanks for dropping by. Hugs, Buttons #79
ReplyDeleteYou've got some interesting layouts started there. I hope most of them get finished. Kate x #97
ReplyDeleteWow, I love how you organize, looks to be very productive. I'll bet your scrapbooks are amazing! Thanks for visiting my blog too, always nice to see a fellow paper lover. cheers!!!! Linda
ReplyDeleteSo many layouts, will you come over and work on mine. I am so far behind. I should be so organized. #20
ReplyDeleteI am halfway through a few scrapbook layouts as well.. I have been stuck on cards for a while now and now its the garden... Have to do a few cards though but the scrapbooking hmmm maybe need some mojo there.. great to see so much work in progress.. thanks for visiting.. Sandy :)
ReplyDeleteWell, I give you credit for keeping your WIP so orderly. I could never have that many open projects because they'd be mixed all together.
ReplyDeletethat is a lot of LO to be doing all at once. hope you get them finished soon
ReplyDeletejanet #45
Lots of creativity happening here! I do that too, sometimes when I scrapbook, I feel like I get stuck, and it feels good just to move on and come back later. Thanks for stopping by my blog. Barb
ReplyDeleteWow you have so much going on!! And the piles are so neat!! I have one project going and my work space is a huge mess :)
ReplyDeleteLisa
A Mermaid's Crafts
I started at the end and I am 5 more comments away from complete.. then I have to go see those after me! Yatta!!!!
ReplyDeleteWow what a busy desk ....I do know what you mean about '...if a LO does not come together' but usually I just keep to the one and it takes ages to complete. As for cats ...I hope you give in and get a cat ...2 are best as they amuse each other... and those that look on ...and as long as the children respect them, they will enjoy them. Thanks for dropping by xx#8
ReplyDeletewow, you have a lot of projects in the works! Happy WOYWW! Lindsay #28
ReplyDeleteNow that's organised and a great way to see what you are doing. Wish I could do that, I tend to shove into piles and spend ages looking for things. You have some fabulous colour combinations.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.
Von #48
You do have a lot going on there on your desk. And I agree, Wednesdays do come around so fast. That's why I'm a bit late, once again. Happy late WOYWW!

ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW #55 AJ
I'm SO GLAD to know I'm not the only one who will move on to a new layout when the old one isn't coming together easily! I have a drawer full of "pages in progress" and NO excuse not to finish them!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting this week! I LOVE having the curtains under my desk! I have so much crap stuffed under there, you wouldn't even believe!! I have a file cabinet and trash can under one section, and a whole printer and cleaning cabinet, mailing supplies, cricut mats and a host of other stuff under the other one! I HIGHLY recommend curtains!! Haha!

ReplyDeleteLove your 'happiness' page in the earlier entry.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my desk already

You look quite organised to me Jojorenee, at least you have everything out on the table ready to work on when the mood takes. I’m kind of a one project at a time gal when it comes to paper crafts but I’m not the same with my stitching.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by this week.
Happy Crafting!
Sue

Love all the layouts on the table. I hope you take the opportunity to look at them all and gloat over all the arty goodness.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for visiting me.
Happy WOYWW on Sunday,
cheers Rachel #62
Oh I wish I had a big table like that! You have a good system there - if it isn't coming together like you want then focus on something else. Good advice for us all!
ReplyDeleteI'm your 80th follower (just signed up). Sorry it's taken me so long to get around to you.
Hugs,
Kay
I'm a bit late getting round to the last few this week, but better late than never!
ReplyDeleteLove your organised chaos.... keep plugging away at the layouts and you'll get there!
Thanks for stopping by.
