There are times when we call ourselves about to start a scrapbooking project but before that our minds and of course our scrap areas need to be clear, unless you can focus like in a tornado scene?
A majority of the time I am thinking of ways to make the most of my "SCRAP" time. When I have a bad case of scrappers block and need the memories to come flooding back in its a good time to sort through all of my photos. I like to make LABELS as you know from my last tip. So I usually use small index cards and I write the dates, people, places, events and brief journaling nots or descriptions and perhaps a possible title and papers and embellishments I might want to use down.
I hate to flip through lots of photos while creating a LO I feel I waste a lot of time and I really really hate getting extra fingerprints on my prints. So as my storage option for the photos that I intend to scrap in the near future I place the photos in date order into an album (the one ~I own got a great deal at Walgreens a while back $3 yay me) like this
Then I stick those index cards in between the pages of the coordinating photo! So far its worked miraculously for me and I hope someone could find that it works for them too!
Great Idea and thanks for sharing! I have about $11 in CVS extra care bucks I can use towards my album. I think I will work on it this weekend.
