A few weeks back I had said to Tamika what if after the kids grow up I get bored with scrapbooking or even before that? Scary thought for me.
Just a while ago I was leaving comments on LO's over at SB.com and stopped by to visit
she's been scrapping for like 50 years! I was looking at some LO's she did going back to when her and Bob met and fell in love and it really made me feel all emotional inside. Those memories and the ones we create as scrappers are like part of our legacy.
I remember as a child when it was thundering & lighting my grandmother would have all the kids sitting quietly by candle light while God did his work. My cousins would play games and I would pull out all the photo albums. Seeing my grandmother and her sisters and brothers with big afros and different styles of clothing. I would dream up in my mind the reason for the photo by what was going on. Sometimes if I could I would ask questions. I think that's when it all began. I wanted to tell a story with my photos for who ever looked through my albums would know.
