It Is What It Is

There isn't a day when this phrase"It Is What It Is" isn't said in the office where I work! I was actually starting to hate the sound of it.  Then as I was working with Jillibean soup I wanted to use my soup labels and there it was, so I slapped it on just because.

Inspiration for the layout below:
I was on the bus the other day during school dismissal.  A lot of the middle and high school children use public transportation to get to and from school. The bus was swarming with them. If I didn't have my kids with me my young looking face probably would have had me blend right in.  Kids haven't really changed much as we think from when we were coming up. Yes, some of them have no manners and are completely wild but unless they were trying to impress the conversations they were having were funny.  They talked about how to get lunch money out of both of their parents and the schemes they used.  They talked about how they would use their cell phones to intervene on a call from the school to mom or dad.  And how they suck up to us by doing extra chores when the want those new sneakers etc.   My 9 year old was beaming the whole time, I thought to myself is she making mental note.
