Keep In Touch Over the Summer

It is very unusual for me to have two weekends without production unless I have parties or cook outs to attend but even then I still get a few hours in.  So far this year I have been on a low for those events so I don't know what's going on.

For starters this weekend I had to deal with my sons bad behavior issue in school that occurred on Friday.  Its sort of hard for the whole family to have fun when one has to sit out.  Especially if the one sitting out is him.  Now he wants to justify why,what,when, and where.  But when it was important for him to behave in school he did not know the answers to any of those.  That's what killed my excitement and concentration buzz.

I did however start a project with my daughter I thought would be real cool.  But since when do parents know what it means to be cool?  Since the end of the year is coming and some of her school friends live in the area, I thought it would be nice to make address books.  To keep in contact over the summer either by phone or mail letters.  My daughter thought it was cool but she didn't like all the hard work that I put her to at first.

Here is what they look like,though they are still WIPs.  I hope when they're complete she doesn't just rush them off too school and give them to her friends before I can take a completed photo.
