Endless Summer

In the mist of working on some W.I.P.s a few weeks ago I had printed some photos taken on my phone and started this one.  I was trying to be all  "design team extraordinaire" on this layout and just start throwing things onto the page and see how it looks.  I left it on the table for a couple of weeks and finally came back to it and said just finish this sucka!!!! why dont ya!

I kinda thought my kids were missing during our annual family BBQ and here is where I found them enjoying the water. 

You may see this one scrapped later I got it from their dads phone after I did the layout.

Can you see what I didn't like about my layout and why I delayed finishing. Maybe I was rushing a bit much but I only have but so much time to myself on the weekends and I was getting disappointed that I let that go to a complete waste.

The journal is part of a quote by Rainer M Rilke- I thought fit our situation at during this time hence the need for the kids to escape and enjoy the water.
