But I couldn't come up with a clear vision for these papers so I found a 1/2 sheet of Hoopla Zebra a Glitz design collection and a April Page Maps sketch and I was cooking with gas!!!!! Speaking of gas its getting warm time to get out the grills folks. That's another topic.
So this is the end result and I am happy with it. The layout features my cousin who studied music arts at Berkley College of Music. She's a fantastic dancer, she just seems to be so free.I admire that about her. Me I have two left feet. I just wished I had finished it earlier yesterday so my picture could have been clearer.
As I said I had very limited Glitz paper but I worked it with some Pink Paislee Berry Cottage collection and some Hoopla transparencies that I had in my stash. I used kids coloring pages for the image of the butterfly. I then cut it out and took my exacto knife and cut out the larger part of the monarchs body so that I could mat it on top of the Hoopla Zebra paper. I used George & Basic Shaped for the star & the Quarter Note Cricut cartridge my sister sent me to make the title. Thanks for stopping by come back tomorrow to see my cards made from the scraps.
