Boo hoo!

Tonight I managed to skip Trick Or Treating with my kids.  I was really exhausted after work and I kept telling them we would get ready shortly. It was also about 40 degrees out!
We had that crazy snowstorm and different towns were cancelling it.  I know its aweful but my kids had no idea that it didn't mean where we live. The snow barely lasted a few hours in the shade and it was gone. Lucky us because several towns had no power,trees knocked down pure craziness.  A group of kids 5 total rang our bell and we handed out candy.  My son asked once are we going I said in a few.  Dad was trying to get out of it too by going to take his bath and getting into his pjs.  I didn't waste any money buying any customes so that was another good thing. My daughter asked and my son paid attention to the response. I said Oh! boy its gotten late now we need to shower and get ready for school in the morning.  No arguements whew!!!!!
