Go Get Wet

Last summer if I must say so myself was a good one for my family.  We actually did a lot outside of the house.  We visited beaches, parks had cook outs and went to a handful.  We went to two water places and the one that I would have thought would have been the greatest hit with my 3 year old seemed to have him scared to death.  Usually he loves water can't get him out the tub or a pool.  So when we went to Water Country  he was gung ho until one of the bigger children thought it would be funny to tip his raft. DUH! big kid he's a little boy.  That whole day he spent far away from the water.

Towards the end of the summer we went to a end of camp field trip with my daughter to (a hotel that has an indoor water park) Coco Keyes.  They have them in a lot of states now probably called something different.  I was thinking the whole day that I would be sitting on the side lines eating and watching my daughter because of the fears Water Country had put into only a short month ago.  I asked him if he wanted to play in the water he said Yes!  I don't know if it was all of the hype of the bus ride there and the kids and their excitement or what.  But as soon as we got there he took off running! I ran right behind him because I am scared he might freak out and change his mind.  He tells me mommy let me go! So I do and he really enjoys himself even when water splashes up in his face.  So when I got out my camera to capture this moment I couldn't wait to scrap his enjoyment.  But for a long while no LO came to mind until last night! I just love the outcome and most of all his smiling face.

I edited the photo a bit

Here I used glossy accents on the GO
& metallic mist on the Heidi Swapp
ghost letters & let dry for wet look
